THE BEGINNING
A woman, a city of gold, and an uncompromising vision
In 2005, Caroline moved to dubai as a senior director for a major global advertising conglomerate. She arrived as a single woman with a career she loved and a passion for fine jewellery that had been with her since childhood. In the city of gold, surrounded by the world's finest craftsmen and the most extraordinary materials, that passion became something deeper. It became a conviction.
It was also in dubai that she met her danish husband. Together, they returned to scandinavia to build a life shaped by international openness and a deep appreciation for enduring quality. And when their twin daughters, vera and edith, were born, the name for what would come next was already written.
THE VISION
Bridging the gap
Caroline saw a space in the jewellery world that no one was filling. On one side, fashion jewellery that tarnished, faded, and disappointed. On the other, high jewelry houses with prices that made fine jewellery feel like a distant dream.

THE NAME
Vera and Edith
Ve fine jewellery is named after Caroline's twin daughters. Vera, meaning truth. Edith, meaning blessed. Together, they represent everything the brand stands for: the truth of real materials, and the blessing of jewellery that can be passed from one generation to the next.
In old norse, “ve” also means sacred place. It is a quiet word for something deeply meaningful. Just like the jewellery itself.
